Care for your flowersTrim stems
cut ½–1 inch off the stems at an angle. This helps your flowers drink more easily and removes and dried ends from transport.
Keep the water cool and fresh to extend the life of your flowers
Fill the vase about one-third full with fresh, cool water. Make sure all flowers are drinking.
Find a cool place for them to rest
Place away from direct sunlight, heaters, radiators, and appliances. Cooler rooms help flowers stay upright.
Expect movement
Flowers will change as the days go by. Notice how the buds open while some of the other delicate petals begin to wilt.
Refresh often
Change the water and re-trim the stems every few days to extend their life.
Remember flowers are living things. They bloom, shift, and eventually fade. Appreciating them means honoring each moment as it changes.
